STEAM Day

STEAM Day is only one component; students also learn about potential careers through the use of online tools, classroom discussions, and a job shadowing project in 8^th Grade.

As you enter the campus, go straight through the stop sign until you reach main entrance to Arcola. Turn left into the parking lot and park. 

Lunch will be provided for all presenters. Your schedule will determine the time you eat lunch.

A half day requires the presenter to present 4 times for approximately 2 hours (30 minutes per session), and a full day requires the presenter to present 6 times for 3 hours. 

The first morning session begins at 9:35 a.m. and the first afternoon session begins at 11:55 p.m. We recommend that you arrive around 30 minutes prior to the start of your session to allow time for setup.

Projectors, cords, smart boards, white boards, markers, Internet access, and school supplies are all available for use.

You should expect approximately 20 students in each session.
